Beeketing Cancels All Shopify Subscriptions - Why and How to Uninstall (With Pictures)
As you may have heard, there's been drama around Beeketing and Shopify.
Shopify alleges that Beeketing has been a bad actor in the Shopify app store and Shopify has decided to ban and remove them from the app store.
However - even though the apps will no longer work past August 27th, you'll want to make sure that the Beeketing code is no longer installed on your website.
If you don't uninstall it, you're in danger of keeping the code on your site, which may slow down your site and cost you sales Why is that imporant?

Uninstalling Beeketing Liquid Code
- Navigate to Themes section >> Select Action >> Click Edit Code
- Select theme.liquid OR layout.liquid file
- Windows CTRL+F | Mac Command+F for "beeketing"
- Code will be near the bottom of the file
- Remove ONLY the following lines of code and Save

- Search for "bk-tracking"
- Delete the bk-tracking.liquid file
